The Magic Emperor is a Chinese manhua which is considered to be one of the best manhuas out there. The story revolves around a Demon emperor Zhuo Yifan who had an ancient Emperor's book called the book of nine secrets. For that sole reason, he was targeted by all the experts and he was unmatched by any warrior. Even the experts combined couldn't take him down, but he was deceived by his own disciple whom he trusted the most and was killed by his student. By using some trick or secret art, he transferred his soul in a recently dead young servant of a tiny third rate clan. He felt his body too much weaker and fragile as compared to his previous life, but he had his brain, schemes, knowledge and skills to overcome his weakness. He cultivated his energy to get stronger and broke through a higher stage of martial arts. The servants body was bound to serve the Luo Clan, which was a third rate clan, nobody ever heard of. The demon emperor couldn't force himself to leave the Luo Clan behind and decided to help the clan to rise it to a higher level.

The protagonist was called Zhuo Fan by his knowns and he slowly slowly gains power through the ancient secret arts only he knew about. He destroys other clans and gets powerful with time, but his physical capabilities weren't that much of a threat as compared to his scheming and manipulation. He gradually gathers strong elders in his clan and make them even stronger for his own selfish motives. Our MC is ruthless and cruel, but knows how to take care of his people. The world of this manhua includes martial arts, sorcery, cultivation, spiritual beasts, godly creatures, military and armies, various strong clans and the seven houses, which are considered to be the strongest in the whole nation. Nobody dares to go against the seven houses, but our MC makes them dance on his palms.

There are other strong characters as well, which are the four pillars of the nation, the prime minister, the emperor and his five divine dragons and many more which are a mystery to the readers. The manhua has over 500 chapters and is still continuing. I consider it as one of my most favorite webtoons and is so much curious what happens further in the story and how will Zhuo Fan, the demon himself conquers the world again in his new life. Although the story is yet incomplete and the manhua is a bit lengthy, but believe me if you love action, plot and scheming genres, you will surely love this piece of fiction. It is underrated and unknown to many people, but it surely has a great caliber to become one of the bests out there in the community. The protagonist is a real badass and can be considered as the most evil protagonist of fiction.
